LL SEMINAR 2015

10:00am – 4:00pm

Ascension Church – Malwood Road – Balham – London SW12 8EN

Rev Sharon Townsend and Dorothy Dwyer hosted the Living Loss Seminar Saturday 7 February 2015. Guest Speakers Catrina Scott, Programme Director at Mercy Ministries UK and Kay Lawrence, Counseller and Psychotherapist, joined them.
The aim of the seminar was to highlight and bring awareness of the grief we may be carrying in the natural course of life. With this realisation, we can seek help, even self-help, and be empowered to help others.
The key speakers throughout the day were experienced in the area of living loss, within their respective ministries. There was also others sharing who had experienced bereavement and living loss.
Tips for self-help were also shared and information given about help and support available within the church and the community.
